milnersAnyone who’s lived in Winston for at least 18 years might remember the old Rock Ola Cafe. It’s easy to forget that Milner’s is on the same spot because it looks completely different. I love the charm of this neighborhood restaurant with delicious Southern cuisine. It’s as cozy and comfy as your good friend’s house.

Milner’s American Southern is a family owned and operated full-service restaurant in business since 2005. The menus boast a delicious variety of Southern American classics re-imagined using contemporary culinary techniques. Brother Chefs John and Buddy create inspired dishes and their wine list earned the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. It’s always a wonderful dining experience.

MilnersNow onto what’s important – the bathrooms! Not only are they nicely decorated and fit with the rest of the décor, but more importantly they are nice and clean. One homey touch is the dividers in the stalls are wallpapered. Additionally, there is extra TP, baskets, a pretty mirror, plenty of paper towel, and a great granite counter top with an attractive fabric covering below. A pleasing look and super clean. Again, the atmosphere, food and restrooms all fit to provide a warm and comfortable environment.

I love to support locally-owned restaurants. The inviting atmosphere and yummy food keeps me coming back to Milner’s.
